Today seems to be a really calm day, even if it's a bit gray. I like the stillness, it's a nice change.

I will need to check those files today, Kotetsu-san, Kotsubaki-san. I should finish this before I go home, after all, and it's good to have it done early.

Oh, reception? My brother is coming to visit today, so if anyone is looking for Ukitake Jyuushirou, please send him right up. He's probably wearing his hair over his face, and might trip and fall on things.

Whomever is in charge of shoveling snow, please be so kind and do so before anyone breaks a leg. The bridge is a death trap and I swear we need railing.

At least some good news came today about the lawsuit.
There's been too much lawyers at work lately. (No offense meant, Tousen-san.)
I just hope things will calm down soon. ...and I hope Ishida-kun is okay.

As for the incident in the elevator, the customer is not suing and everything is fine.

Today I'm having another meeting with the spokesperson of Vaizard Inc., and if everything goes to plan, we'll be buying up their company soon. While it is slightly sad that such a good company is going to close, it will secure jobs for their employees. If they come to work with us, I hope we'll all get along.

If yesterday's weather was dull and gray, today is even worse.
The water outside might signal the turn of winter, of course, but it is still only january.
I would have wished for some more snow.

At least the flower pot makes the office feel much brighter.

I did not have time to make any journal posts yesterday du to a couple of meetings.
I must say that the Vaizard Inc.'s representative sure has a mouth on her.
I was almost worried that she'd take of her high heel and hit me with it.
I cannot say I don't understand her; their small company is almost bankrupt due to the popularity of SSI.
It's too bad.

She would not accept an offer to join SSI, unfortunately.
I suppose they have their pride.

Hueco Mundo Ltd. is still going strong, however.
I wonder how they manage.

Hmm. I think I'll use the storage room for a while.

I apologize for not coming to work yesterday.

I heard some rather confusing rumors. I do hope everything will turn out okay.

The launch of the new product seems to go more then well.
I'm proud of the accomplishments of the company.

...and it's still terribly warm. I got my shoe stuck in the asphalt on my way to the company, and it took me at least two minutes to get it loose again. This weather is really too much. Then again, I guess I'd rather have warm summers then cold ones...

I have three meetings today, two important phone calls, one report to finish and one really, REALLY important lunch appointment with the Japanese company that are interested in working with us. Plus all of these people running around, and my sister asked me to babysit tonight. I really do not know how I will manage it all.

Kyouraku, are you busy today? Would you mind taking over two of my meetings?
I really need to concentrate on that lunch appointment, it's worth a lot of money.

Madarame-san, would you please be so kind to keep people out of my office and the storage room with the bed?
If one more person comments on my hair color or asks my real gender age, I am going to yell at them. I mean it.

At least heat is better today, even if it is raining.
I'm glad the press conference went okay, Yamamoto-sama seemed very pleased with it all.

I heard a strange rumor down at the third floor when I passed by to get some chocolate. It seems that someone is hacking into company e-mail accounts. I don't know much about computers, but don't we have walls and such in them to prevent from outer attacks?
If so, is it someone in the company doing this?

These first few days back at work has been lovely. It's so nice to see everyone again.
But my, does work build up during vacation time. There's a lot to finish.

I do wish I had something better to look at ouside my window then a parking lot, though.
